Moving right along.
The back of the garage looks funny to me. Like there's a seam running right down the middle of it and there's two different color brick or something. CJ says it's a line in the brick called (uh, something), anyway he says once the brick is washed and everything is more dry it won't look so obvious. Whatever.
I'm sure I'll have more pics tomorrow!

Look! Look! Look!

The Master bedroom and both baths will be in greens.
My Play room and Tanner's room will be in a nice denim blue.
Grace's room is pink and yellow.
And Morgan's room (there's no paint chips on his room) is basically the same as the living/kitchen.
The chip off to the left side will be the ceilings, doors, and trim.
CJ is finishing the siding on saturday (hopefully). He's planning to set the doors and start building the closets sunday (installing shelves, rods, etc.) Next will be the trim and kitchen cabinets. We're expecting the cabinets to arrive on Wednesday.

It's a good thing my kids have hard heads.

Today when I pick Tanner up from school he has a sticker on his shirt that reads "Watch me, I bumped my head." Also included a nice note from the school nurse and the story from Tanner about running and jumping and somehow the edge of the sidewalk reached up and whacked him. He thought it was cool though - he got a Spiderman ice pack.

Where to start?

Nothing really new with Grace. She's adapting to life without Tanner, but she's always looking for someone to play with. She asks to go to playgroup, to the park, to someone's house, etc. One day we'll get out a little more. Morgan just needs to grow a touch and we need to meet some people. Soon.
Tanner can count to 100! Without any prompting or reminding of certain numbers. He's so proud of himself. We count to 100 at least twice on the way to school every morning and several other times later in the day. When he gets to 100 he always asks for a high-five and then comes the question "what numbers come after 100 mom?"
And, for the house. We've got insulation in the walls - yeah! And as you can see in the picture the sheetrock is waiting to be put on. They should be there today to do that - woohoo! CJ started running the siding in the gables yesterday I'll have pics of that later in the week when there's a little more done.
oh, oh, oh - I almost forgot...... I made this cutie cupcake cake for my niece this weekend. Had her party at Build-A-Bear and we thought cupcakes would be easier to serve at the mall. She's 4! I can't believe it! Happy Birthday Lily!
And, last but not least, I got a new toy!
A PINK Dyson - rock on! Target had a deal last week, when you buy one you get a $100 Target gift card and when you buy the PINK one they give $40 to Breast Cancer Research. I know if I really wanted to give to breast cancer research I could have just sent them the $400 but I really needed the sweeper too :-)
That's all for now!

Here's a little update on the house. Boring pics, but it's what's going on right now. Yes, it's 90+ degrees and Brian has on long pants, long sleeves, a mask on his face and a toboggan on his head. The pains of using the paint sprayer. But I'm telling ya now - that's the way to paint!!!
We made it through the first week of school. I never cried, but today almost brought tears. Why? Because we didn't walk him in. He asked to be dropped off out front so he could walk in by himself. whhhaaaaa!
